Recommended setup for Google Calendar users
If you'd like to connect multiple calendars to Upheal, we recommend doing this through Google Calendar:
Connect all of your other calendars to your Google Calendar. (You can likely find this on your other platforms in Settings or Integrations.)
The result:
Everything in one place: You'll see all platforms you've connected to Google in Upheal, so you can easily keep track of both your work and personal schedule.
Conflict prevention: Upheal can check all of your calendars for scheduling conflicts.
Neat and quick: This is the neatest way to keep all your events in one place, and minimizes any delays between your calendars syncing.
Connecting your calendar from SimplePractice, Alma, Headway, or TherapyNotes
To see events from SimplePractice, Alma, Headway, or TherapyNotes in Upheal without using Google calendar:
In Upheal, go to your Settings, and go to Calendars.
Click Connect beside your platform (SimplePractice, Alma, Headway etc...).
Follow the instructions to find the iCal link in your platform's settings and paste it into Upheal.
Click Connect.
Now, you'll be able to see your other appointments in Upheal.
Connecting calendars from other platforms
If you don't see your platform listed in Settings > Calendars, click Connect beside Other platforms. Most platforms are able to share their calendars with Upheal via iCal link or Google integration.
Connecting via iCal link
To connect an iCloud calendar with Upheal, it must be set to Public. Check the iCloud User Guide for more details, then follow the steps below.
To connect your calendar from a platform not listed in Upheal settings using an iCal link:
In Settings > Calendars, click Connect beside Other platforms.
Find the iCal link in your app or platform — look in Settings, Integrations, or Calendar sync.
Copy the iCal URL provided.
In Upheal, paste it under Calendar URL.
Take a look at the URL — if it starts with
webcal, deletewebcaland typehttps://in its place.Click Connect.
Connecting via Google
To connect your calendar from a platform not listed in Upheal settings using Google:
Check if your platform supports Google Calendar integration—look in Settings or Integrations.
Connect your platform to your Google Calendar.
Then, connect the same Google Calendar to Upheal. You'll see your linked calendar listed, and you can choose to display or not display it.
