You can set up automatic gentle reminders via email, SMS (text messages), or push notifications from the Upheal app, if clients haven't filled out their forms yet.
Setting up automated form and packet reminders
To set up automated form and packet reminders:
In Settings, go to Client reminders.
Under Form reminders, choose the reminder frequency:
Smart schedule: Reminds the client to fill out their forms 7 days, 3 days, 24 hours, and 4 hours before their next scheduled session, plus weekly reminders if the forms remain incomplete.
If not completed: Sends a reminder at your set interval (daily, weekly, or monthly) until forms are complete.
Before session: Sends one reminder at your set time period before their next scheduled session (1 hour, 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week) until forms are complete.
After each session: Sends one reminder at your set time period after each session (immediately, 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week) until forms are complete.
You can set up multiple frequencies of reminder.
When you're finished, click Save.
Choosing communication methods for form reminders
You can remind clients to fill out forms via email, SMS (text messages), or push notifications from the Upheal Client Portal mobile app.
Email notifications are sent on the reminder schedule you set
SMS notifications are sent only for the first reminder, and any follow-ups will be via email. You need client consent to send SMS reminders.
Push notifications are automatically sent to all clients using Upheal's Client Portal mobile app, on the schedule you set
To set your preferred communication method for sending forms:
In Settings, go to Client reminders.
Under Communication methods, check the boxes beside the methods you'd like to use (Push, Email, and/or SMS).
You need to have at least one method selected, email or SMS.
Your selection saves automatically.
