If you don't want to store your session transcripts, you can delete individual transcripts manually, or set up automatic transcript deletion. Please note that deleting a transcript is permanent; Upheal doesn't store deleted data, and it can't be recovered.
Important note
Without a session transcript, you won't be able to change note types, generate a Treatment plan, get a post-session summary for your client, or use other upcoming transcript-based features.
Deleting a session's transcript
You can delete a single session's transcript from the list in the Sessions tab, or from the individual session page.
Deleting a transcript from the Sessions tab
To delete a transcript from the Sessions tab:
In the left menu, click Sessions.
Click the three-dot icon next to the session with the transcript you wish to delete, and click Delete transcript.
Click Yes, delete.
Deleting a transcript from the session's page
To delete a transcript from the individual session page:
Click the three-dot icon in the upper right of the session page.
Click Delete transcript.
Click Yes, delete.
Setting up automatic transcript deletion
If you know you don't want to keep any of your transcripts, you can set them to delete automatically once your notes are generated. Please keep in mind that features including changing the session's note type, regenerating the note, Treatment plans, and more won't be available without transcripts.
In the left menu, click Settings.
Click Practice settings.
Scroll down to Automatic deletion, and click the switch next to Transcripts.
Click Yes, turn on.
All transcripts will now be automatically deleted, and past transcripts will be deleted within 24 hours.
To change how long transcripts are stored before deletion, click the Immediate dropdown menu. You can choose for transcripts to be automatically deleted immediately, after 24 hours, or after 7 days.
