Editing client and session information in notes

Change client and session information from the session page

Written by Aviva Glassman

At the top of your notes, you’ll see a header that includes information about the client and the session. From here, you can change your client’s profile information, as well as information about that specific session.

Changing a client’s information

From the session header, you can edit the client’s name, pronouns, email, phone number, date of birth, sex, and address. You can also send forms, and set diagnoses and modalities for treatment.

These changes apply to the client’s general record, and they will reflect in all of your future session notes and update in existing notes.

To change a client's information from the session page:

  1. Click on a session for the client whose information you want to edit.
You can see a list of all sessions by clicking Sessions in the left menu, or by clicking Clients in the left menu, and selecting the client to see a list of that client's sessions.

  2. On the right side of the session page, hover over the Client section of the header. The text Edit client will appear.

  3. Click Edit client.

  4. Make changes, and click Update to save.
