The Role

We're seeking an experienced clinician with expertise in AI prompt engineering to help bridge the gap between therapeutic practice and technology. In this role, you'll shape our AI's capacity to understand and support the nuanced work of mental health professionals while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Improve Documentation Processes – Stay informed on clinical therapist needs and payer requirements to ensure compliance. Gather feedback and analyze note-editing behaviors to enhance AI-generated documentation and refine prompts.
  • Develop AI-Powered Efficiency Tools – Create and improve AI-driven solutions that go beyond note-taking to support therapy progress tracking, reduce administrative burden, and optimize clinician workflows.
  • Enhance User Experience – Collaborate with product and growth teams to refine AI-driven tools, track key performance metrics, and ensure seamless adoption of efficiency-enhancing features.

Required QualificationsProfessional Background

  • Advanced degree in psychology, counseling, or related mental health discipline
  • Substantial clinical experience with demonstrated expertise in documentation with particular emphasis on delivering care in the US
  • Deep understanding of healthcare ethics, particularly regarding AI applications and clinical data utilization
  • Working knowledge of Python programming language
  • Experience with large language models and prompt engineering principles (preferably in the field of mental health)
  • Proficiency with version control systems (GitHub)

Additional Assets

  • Direct experience implementing AI in mental health contexts
  • Comprehensive understanding of US insurance documentation requirements
  • Clinical documentation improvement expertise
