Removing a client from your Upheal telehealth waiting room if it's not their turn for an appointment

When you start an Upheal telehealth session, everyone in your waiting room is admitted. So, what do you do if a client has accidentally entered your waiting room when it's not their appointment time?

To remove a client from your waiting room:

  1. Click the three-dot icon beside the client's name, and click Remove.

  2. When you remove the client, they'll see this message:

    The waiting room has been closed. Another session might be in progress β€” please double-check your appointment time. If you think this was a mistake, reach out to your care provider directly.

  3. Now, you can begin your session with the correct client(s).

  4. If you remove a client by accident and they contact you to reconnect, just tell the client to refresh their webpage, and they'll be able join your waiting room again.
